Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign up with your email and use everything free for 3 months. There is nothing to cancel.
What happens after the 3 months?
If you haven't picked a plan, you move to the Free plan automatically. Nothing is deleted — your page, products, orders and offers stay. What changes: custom background and accent colour, paid-message and meeting requests, adding more than 3 offers, running more than one giveaway at a time, and the “Powered by Follista” badge returns.
How do my customers pay?
Shop orders support cash on delivery today, and your buyers can also message you on WhatsApp — you confirm each order. Card payments (for checkout, gifts and paid messages) are being rolled out and are not live yet.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
10% of gifts and paid messages. Nothing on your shop orders or discount codes.
Which currency do shops use?
Shop prices are in Egyptian pounds (EGP) today. Other shop currencies aren't available yet.
Can brands use Follista too?
Yes. Brands can sponsor picks on creator pages and see views, copies, clicks and confirmed cash-on-delivery sales for each offer.
How do giveaways work?
You create a giveaway with a prize, your rules and an optional end date, then share its link. Fans enter with their name and an email or phone number. You draw the winners at random, see every entry and can download them. You are responsible for your giveaway's rules and for following local laws — Follista only collects the entries and isn't affiliated with Instagram, TikTok or any other platform. The Free plan limit is 1 running giveaway at a time.
How long does it take to set up a store?
